STRAWBS - The Battle - A Collection Of Rare Live Performances & BBC Sessions (1968-1972) 2LP
Limited to 500 copies, double black vinyl (112 minutes) released in beautiful, laminated cover with some fine memorabilia and cool pictures of the band.
This fantastic and superbly sounded album contains classic, folk-psych-progressive material recorded for the BBC and rare, live performances taped at the time of band's albums with Rick Wakeman on board ('Just A Collection Of Antiques And Curios' from 1970 & 'From The Witchwood' from 1971) - just before his career in Yes. 12-minute version of 'Sheep' (with Wakeman being in full swing and citing Tchaykovsky's 'Swan Lake' theme) is worth an admission price alone!
All tracks never before released on vinyl! The vinyl pressing and the sound is simply perfect!
