Please read the Item Description through carefully before deciding to purchase this item. I recommend you pay particular attention to the P&P/ Shipping section & the Condition section.

Here is the original 10 track UK Double LP/ Album Emergency On Planet Earth by Jamiroquai from 1993. Housed in a gatefold sleeve & released on Sony Soho Square Records, the Catalogue Number is 474069 1. The records are housed within printed paper inner sleeves. The track listing is When You Gonna Learn (J K Mix), Too Young To Die, Hooked Up, If I Like It I Do It, Music Of The Mind, Emergency On Planet Earth, Whatever It Is I Just Can’t Stop, Blow Your Mind, Revolution 1993 & Didgin’ Out. I assume the package was made in the UK/ Europe for UK/ European release. PLEASE NOTE: In order to show as much detail as possible, some pictures have been merged together to create single images (e.g. different views of the matrix numbers).

Record 1, Side 1 Matrix: 01 474069 20 1A1 (6 o’clock)     A (12 o’clock)     TY2 (I think) (5 o’clock)

Record 1, Side 2 Matrix: 01 474069 20 1B1 (6 o’clock)     A (12 o’clock)     TY2 (I think) (2 o’clock)

Record 2, Side 1 Matrix: 01 474069 20 1B1C (The “B” is Crossed Out) (6 o’clock)     A (12 o’clock)     TY2 (1 o’clock)

Record 2, Side 2 Matrix: 01 474069 20 1D1 (6 o’clock)     TY2  A (12 o’clock)

I believe this information indicates that it comes from the First Pressing run. The Matrix Numbers are described using a clock face. The first part is the main body of the Matrix Number. It will be at 6 o’clock if it is located in front of the label with the writing curving away from me at the ends (as I look) and at 12 o’clock if it is located behind the label with the writing curving towards me at the ends (as I look). Other times give a rough idea of where additional parts of the Matrix Number are located, in relation to the main part. It’s not meant to be foolproof, just to give an idea of where the various parts of the matrix are, in relation to each other.

Condition as follows including photographs: The sleeve is in very good plus condition, due to slight creasing, slight wear & slight discoloration. The gatefold sleeve shows slight signs of wear near the bottom edge of the inside faces. They must have become stuck together during storage, & then separated. The inner sleeves are in very good/ very good plus condition. Record One is in very good/ very good minus condition while Record Two is in very good minus condition. There are quite a lot of paper scuffs to the surface. They are all shallow, but are quite numerous. Record Two has visible surface wear across the opening tracks of Side C & Side D (Emergency On Planet Earth & Revolution 1993). All four sides play through well, with no jumping, skipping or sticking. The overall sound is very good. Although there are no loud/ heavy clicks there are some occasional light clicks. There is some surface noise throughout, mostly in quieter passages, between tracks &/ or at the start/ end of each side. Once past the quiet introductions, both the tracks with visible surface wear sound fine. I don’t think the sound is overly invasive & so would not expect it to affect your listening pleasure. I always expect some sound from records of this age & condition. See below for NOTES ON CONDITION*.

*NOTES ON CONDITION: I grade according to the Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide & will not necessarily list all individual points in the written description. There will be a blanket grade for each component (sleeve, record etc), which smaller factors fall into. The general appearance will be clearly visible in the photographs. Please study the photographs in detail as they form the bulk of the description. Please be aware that play grading is based on my interpretation of what I hear on my system only. Although it is an honest assessment, it does not automatically follow that you would reach the same conclusion when listening on your own system, as there are so many variables. I DON’T use Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide categories when play grading, just my own judgement.

You shouldn’t have any problems with the transaction but please contact me first if you do.
