Squirrel Nut Zippers – “Hot” (Mammoth MRo137-1). “Hot” is the second studio album by the Squirrel Nut Zippers, an American jazz band formed in 1993 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, by James "Jimbo" Mathus (vocals and guitar), Tom Maxwell (vocals and guitar), Katharine Whalen (vocals, banjo, ukulele), Chris Phillips (drums), Don Raleigh (bass guitar), and Ken Mosher. The band's music is a fusion of Delta blues, gypsy jazz, 1930s–era swing, klezmer, and other styles.. The album was released in 1996 and certified platinum by the RIAA in 1997. Cuts include: “Got My Own Thing Now", “"Put a Lid on It", “Memphis Exorcism", "Twilight", "It Ain't You", "Prince Nez", "Hell", “Meant to Be", "Bad Businessman", "Flight of the Passing Fancy", “Blue Angel", and "The Interlocutor." Record is in strong VG+ condition and cover is in VG+ (has a scratch on cover - see scan.)
