This Lp was released on the 10th July 1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 postition for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

Lovely rich sound reproduction, with BARELY ANY background noise!!
I have just had the utter pleasure of listening to her all the way through and was amazed at how quiet the run-ins were-as well as inbetween tracks! Not to mention how wonderfully clear the audio was....
Looking at the vinyl, I can see there are some light marks and scuffs, however, I didn't find they had any affect to the play back-which remained clear and rich throughout the whole record.

GENTLY CLEANED WITH A VACUUM RECORD CLEANER.

Still has the glorious sheen and is lovely and flat.
Nothing AT ALL to make her jump or skip

Lovely and clear. Just a handful of very light spindle marks, visible when angled towards bright light, with some light central hole wear...Please see the detailed pictures.
There is a small name of 'Irene' in blue biro to both labels-visible when angled towards the light.

 Outer text "The Parlophone Co. LTD" (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.

Very proud KT tax code to side 2.

Would frame incredibly well.

Solid, small mono in top right corner. Shiny front cover...There are just a few small crescents of spidering, mainly near the opening, but very small too!!
Light rubbing to the corners, with the top right corner having a small line of creasing, but not bade at all as it is not noticeable to the back card at all.
Still has a white card backing, with just slight spots of discolouration but nothing offensive at all...PLEASE SEE THE DETAILED PHOTO'S.
There is a small name of 'Irene' to the top on the back card, in blue biro.
The Ernest J. Day flipbacks are in superb condition with barely any wear to them at all!
