This is a newly recorded version of the Music From the Game of Thrones, which is no doubt one of the biggest TV series ever. A show filled with epic scenes, plenty of narrative twists and turns and untold drama needs a suitably big soundtrack and so this proves: from the giant strings of the main theme to the intricate acoustic guitars of "The Pointy End" via rueful numbers like "King of the North" and the tense, rumbling drums of "Don't Die With A Clean Sword" this is an enthralling listen whether or not you like the TV show it came with.
