Younger DJs may not be aware of Sunscreem, but back in the early '90s they were big news. In fact, they were among the earliest progressive house acts to taste crossover success, with "Perfect Motion" being one of the biggest club smashes of 1992. This new edition is headed up by a fresh contemporary remix from Dutch producer Patrice Baumel. He "Renaissance Remix" layers sharp, trance-style synth stabs, select vocal snippets and spacey, elongated chords over a rich, warm, tech-house style interpretation of Sunscreem's original groove. Over on side B there's a chance to revisit the Boys Own remix by Pete Heller and Terry Farley, a deliciously glassy-eyed vocal take that sounds every bit as rush-inducing as it did in 1992.
