ONE OF THE BEST 6TH PRESSING VINYL I HAVE SEEN & HEARD!

This was the very first official release, being released on the 22nd of March 1963 (MONO version) and later on the 26th of April 1963 (STEREO version). The Lp reached number one in; Disc Weekly, Melody Maker,  New Musical Express and The Record Retailer in the UK. Only to be knocked off by their next album With The Beatles.

 Amazingly the songs, which were taken from their first two singles and included a further ten songs, were all recorded in one marathon session at Abbey Road Studios. John wasn't feeling too well and got throught the 3 sessions in the one day by having milk, tea and Zubes lozenges....

 Nice, heavy vinyl, with barely any marks to her.
I have just finished listening to all of her (LOUD) and found she provided a superb rich deep bass reproduction, with clear and high peaks too!!

There's barely any central hole wear as can be seen in the detailed pictures.
The labels stand out wonderfully clean, with no writing or rips. There are light spindle marks evident when angled towards the light-but nothing terrible and would not affect the joy of framing her.
 Outer rim text starts with "The GRAMOPHONE Co.Ltd"

INCREDIBLY WELL LOOKED AFTER
A few fingers of spidering emanating from the seams, as well as some rubbing and light knocking to the corners, but again, nothing bad at all.
The EJ Day flipbacks are in great condition-as can be seen in the photos.
NO SPLITS.
There is a small amount of pen marks to the back card, as can be seen in the images provided-again-nothing terrible at all.
