Previously unissued concert, the band includes features Horace Parlan (piano), Buddy Catlett (bass) and Art Taylor (drums). Recorded live at The Penthouse, Seattle on May 30, 1962 (record 1) and on June 6, 1962 (record 2). Deluxe limited edition 180 gram vinyls, mastered by Bernie Grundman Mastering. Remastered audio transferred directly from the original 10" tapes at 7 ½ IPS. Includes extensive booklet with rare photos; essays by journalist Ted Panken, pianist Michael Weiss, co-producer Zev Feldman and Cory Weeds; plus interviews with drum icon Kenny Washington, saxophone colossus James Carter and more.

New mint unplayed vinyls, the cover has a small corner bend lower left, packaged in a resealable clear plastic outer sleeve with info sticker. Apologies for the glare on the pictures.
