Fantastic 1969 Beatles UK LP. This was the Beatles' 12th LP, released on the 26th September. It was also the last official Beatles release that was recorded by them. Staying at number one for almost 18 consecutive weeks, it was only knocked off by The Rolling Stones' "Let It Bleed."

 Lovely FLAT & SHINY vinyl.
She only carries one or two incredibly light marks-however, I did not find these to have any impact on audio playback as the audio was wonderfully rich, clear and glorious throughout.
After I cleaned her on my Pro-Ject VCS MkII Vacuum Record cleaner I had the utter joy of listening to her-all the way through....LOUDLY ;)
Wonderfully rich and exactly as The Beatles wanted you to hear them, back in '69!
Almost ZERO background noise!!-not even noticable inbetween tracks or in the run-ins...WOW!
To be ultra critical-I heard 9 very light background pops on the 1st track of side 2...but then disappears...It is not offensive at all.
It is even lovely and quiet between Carry That Weight, through the long pause and into Her Majesty-MAGICAL :)

CERTAINLY NO JUMPS OR SKIPS ON MY FOCUS ONE DECK WITH A  LIGHT, PRECISION SMK ARM WITH AN AUDIO TECHNICA STYLUS FITTED.

 There are just very light spindle marks, seen when angled towards the light and looking hard for them!...With barely any central hole wear.

"Mfd. in U.K." text. The labels are nice and vibrant.
This is the 1st pressing DARKER version of this Apple label.
Has the '33 1/3' to the extreem left.
The last song credit DOES NOT HAVE "Her Majesty" on the Side 2 label.
NO WRITING.

The cover of this LP is the rarer cover; with the alignment of the Apple Logo on the back NOT being inline with the text.
The spine remains lovely and strong, as well as legible.
There are only around 2 small crescents of spidering to the front laminate, as well as a just a few fingers of spidering to seams.
The back laminate has a couple of lines of spidering around the outline of where this baby has been housed for the last 51 years..Certainly nothing at all to worry about.
There is a slight and very small abrasion mark to the top, in the blue sky-please see the detailed images for yourselves as it really is negligble.
*WOULD FRAME INCREDIBLY WELL*
The corners remain strong with just VERY light rubbing, with nothing bad at all.

NO SPLITS-NO WRITING.

 The alignment of the Apple Logo on the back is OUT OF LINE with the text.

"MADE IN ENGLAND" die-cut, white inner.
There is only very slight discolouration to the paper and light crease marks.

Certainly done her job in keeping this very early slab of vinyl in tip-top condition!
