Funkadelic  "Maggot Brain".   1971.    Gatefold Cover.    Westbound Label WB-2007.   This LP will be a good fit for someone that is willing to trade cover & label ‘cosmetics’ for clean vinyl ‘playability’ at a lower price point compared to the price that this LP typically sells for ($200 Plus for a nice original copy).

The Cover is nothing to write home about, a bit wavy & rough in places but the gatefold is still solid & in tact (see detailed photos).

The label appears to have a second layer of paper stuck to side one with just a bit of the same on side two. (see detailed photos).

Now the good news,… my staff being Funkadelic fans, has played this LP several timesin our store and even with an ever so slight wrap, it sounds good & does not skip (at least not on our old school Technics TT).

I will let the public decide its value as there is no reserve.

I would grade the Vinyl as VG+, Under bright light it has some light hairlines...absolutely nothing detectable to the touch. eelable...Disc has a nice shine and looks good.

JACKET GRADING: poor – (but not trash)

VINYL: Very good + (but side one label is jacked, see photos)
