Mint  - The record is Unplayed, no surface wear, no lip wear, no spindle wear

Near Mint - The record has been sampled, or only played a few times, no visible wear to the record surface

Excellent Plus  - A carefully used, clean looking record, still retaining its high gloss, paper/handling/storage marks are inaudible

Excellent - A used record that shows reasonable previous usage, small areas of light topical surface wear may be occasionally audible,

but the music, overall, plays like a higher grade record

Very Good/Very Good Plus - a record that shows visible degrees of prior usage,  still a good player copy, full fidelity sound.
