Whatever cup of coffee was served, it's clearly working - which isn't to say the name Bully has never been on our essential list, more pointing out this might be the finest in that back catalogue.

Grizzly guitar refrains, often lower slung than a mid-90s teen's jeans, dusty, hooky riffs, and an almost outright rejection of anything other than forward propulsion have rarely sounded fresher. Standout moments such as 'Stuck In Your Head' display Bully's deft ability to play with tempo and time signatures without losing the kind of energy the raucous and fittingly-titled 'Not Ashamed' smacks you in the face with. Even at the most lackadaisical, perhaps 'Prism', you can't get away from the powerhouse at play.
