1st REISSUE WITH TRANSITIONAL MATRICIES & "LEMON SONG"!
PROFESSIONALLY VACUUM CLEANED


Released in October 1969, this Lp was the follow up to the hugely succesfull Zeppelin I... & what an album...Being the groups very first album to reach No. 1 in both the UK and the USA.
The album production was entirely credited to Jimmy Page.
(as a little note: In November of 1999 the album was certified 12X platinum!!)

*Side 2 has the old matrix numbers stamped into the run-out groove...I can only assume they were using the old mothers from the Plum labels! It reads:

 Being one of my favourite albums of all time-it really wasn't a chore to listen to her through at HIGH volume!!
SUPERB sound reproduction..Deep bass and clear highs.
Only VERY occasional light background noise, with the last track on side 1 having a couple light pops in the breakdown of Thank You-...I noticed only a few very light marks to the vinyl.
SO GOOD-I LISTENED TO HER AGAIN!

The Labels:
VG+.
 Green and Orange labels. There is some light wear to the central hole...Please see the images...Really nothing to worry about at all. To side 2 there appears to be a slight factory defect with two small patches to the paper-not lifting and only visible when angled towards the light.
This is the 1st re-issue. Without the Warner "W" and without the "Manufactured In" statement at 9 O'Clock-Instead is has the "MADE IN UK" statement....The rim text does not penetrate the central white bar either, which is further clarification this is the very 1st re-pressing after the Plum labels.
This label includes "The Lemon Song" credit, rather than "Killing Floor" which is normally on the 2nd re-issue..

 2nd darker printing. 
Original GATEFOLD cover with only very light wear to her-Please see the pictures provided...The back card has some lines of light rubbing-as was typical with this cover.
These covers are notorious for light ring wear, but this one is in SUPERB condition!
The front panel has a small amount of tape residue to the top right corner, but nothing offensive at all.
 The spine is almost PERFECT! Uncrushed and as legible today as it was when born.
It has the later 'pasted over' credits below the Atlantic logo to the inside.
