This year's Record Store Day event may have been a few weeks ago, but limited-edition releases and reissues are still trickling through. The latest comes courtesy of Irish giants U2, who have chosen to offer-up an expanded, transparent blue vinyl pressing of their first single for Island Records, 1980's '11 O'Clock Tick Tock'. On the A-side you'll find the title track, a prime slice of post-punk rock, and original B-side 'Touch', both of which were produced by Factory Records' in-house mixer Martin Hannett. Over on the flip the band has chosen to showcase two previously unreleased recordings from a live gig at the Marquee in London in September 1980. These show Bono and company at their sizzling early best, and should be regarded as a must-listen for serious fans.
