A lot has happened in the five years since Tom Misch put out this collection of beats. Back then he was already tipped for greatness, and by now he has very much realised that and become a crossover artist with wide appeal. And it's easy to see why - his music is deep and emotive, easily accessible and with all the fine guest who he works with here, very singable. Loyle Carner, Jordan Rakei and Zak Abel are just some of the silky voiced soul singers who add extra butter to Misch's already creamy beats, making this a sublime and sugary collection, to be sure.
