Italian maestros North East Ska Jazz Orchestra are Italian maestros who first put out their debut album in 2015. It is packed with 10 red hot remakes of classic swing tracks in a big band style, with plenty of style and big vocals flourishes all performed in the Jamaican style of the 60's. Ska, reggae and rocksteady grooves all feature and the young 10-piece Trivenento band do a fine job of laying down colourful and charismatic rhythms that carry the album along with big turns from Mr. T-Bone (Africa Unite, Bluebeaters) and Olly Riva (Shandon, Olly Riva & The Soul Rockets) along with vocals from Freddy Frenzy, Rosa Mussin and Michela Grena.
