The Cult's The Mail Must Go Through was originally pressed on Starburst Records in 1976, but only in small quantities. It has been hard to find since, sending up its value and of course its desirability and notoriety. But the music stands up with its great rare-funk vibes. The album was recorded at various studios around Hollywood and came with two different sleeve designs. The record has oodles of raw funk on rollers like 'Back Pay' and 'The Cult Theme 'with some ballads also included such as the sweet and tender, Rhodes laced joys of 'Rider.'
