Donald Byrd – New Perspective (Blue Note BST 84124.) 1984 reissue of the landmark 1964 LP by Byrd Direct Metal Mastering Audiophile edition. Cuts include: “Elijah”; “Beast of Burden”, “Cristo Redentor”, “The Black Disciple”, and “Chant.” Trumpeter, Byrd is backed by Butch Warren (bass), Lex Humphries (drums), Kenny Burrell (guitar), Herbie Hancock (piano), Hank Mobley (Tenor Sax), and Donald Best (Vibraphone). Cut-out. Includes poster. Record is in strong VG+ condition and cover is in M- condition.
