Looking to auction 500+ vinyl soul funk records over the next few weeks! This is going to be fun. All auctions start at $1 with NO Reserve.

Please follow my store if you love records! I am always posting and have another 1000+ rock collection ready to auction next!

The records are just eye graded under bright light. There are far too many records to play them as I usually do. Since these are graded by eye, please note that they could easily play better or worse than the vinyl visually shows.

My grading standards can be found underneath my grades.

All grades below are in the following format:

Vinyl Grade/Sleeve Grade

Grading:

LPs:

SLICKS - TAMLA T6 356

VG/VG

HE'S A FRIEND - T6-343

VG+/VG

GOIN UP IN SMOKE - T6 346

VG+/G+

BOOGIE DOWN - C5RS-8116-1

VG+/G+

45'S: All Sleeves are generic.

T 54236 F - VG

T 54238F - VG+

My estimates for eye grading:

Vinyl:

M/Mint: Sealed

NM: I do not grade used vinyl NM. I grade NM records as VG++. NM have no scratches and should have clean grooves.

VG++: Can have up to 2 hairline scratches that are one inch long or 1 hairline scratch that is 2 inches long per side. Others may grade NM.

VG+: I would expect this to play without crackling interfering with sound quality. This can have scratches but scratches usually have to be spaced out allowing the record to play cleanly.

VG: I would expect this to have some crackling. Could interfere with sound quality. I try to note if the scratching is very heavy as the record is at risk of having pops, excessive crackling, or skips.

G+: Tons of extremely deep scratching. Dings and chips. If I grade a record G+, the record is usually a rare one that still could have value.

Sleeve:

1 imperfection:VG+

2 imperfections: VG

3 Imperfections: G+

4 or More Imperfections: G

Examples of sleeve imperfections: Writing, stickers, ring wear, binding wear, moisture damage, torn seams, taped seams, and more.
