On offer today, an excellent Factory Sample copy of the 1965 UK Mono 12" Vinyl Lp by Rosemary Squires titled "Something To Remember Me By" on the 1st press black and red HMV label. The labels and vinyl are in near mint condition.

Side 1 condition:

Side 1 plays through beautifully well with no jumps or sticks. There is very light background noise here and there, during quieter sections, but the quality of the playback still remains wonderful with an infrequent amount of light background noise. 9/10.

The surface and shine of the vinyl is excellent with very few light hairlines on the surface. There are no scratches, no rubs and no unfavourable marks or dirt. 9/10

The HMV label on side 1 with a 'Factory Sample- Not For Sale' sticker and 'KT' tax code, is in excellent condition, 9/10, with no evidence of surface wear and no light spider trails around the centre hole. The text is stunning near mint with no fading.

Side 2 condition:

Side 2 plays through beautifully well with very little background noise throughout. There are no sticks or jumps and no interference with playback. The transition from each song is wonderful, this is one of the reasons why we love vinyl more than any other format. 9/10.

The excellent shine and surface of the vinyl on side 2 is equal to that as described on side 1. There are only a few light lines and it is beautifully clean with no scratches, no rubs and no grease marks or dirt. 9/10

The HMV label on side 2 is also in excellent condition, 9/10. There is no discolouration or fading evident and only a couple of light spider trails The text remains visually strikingly bold with no obvious fading.

The HMV inner sleeve is in excellent condition with no fading, no tears, no seam splits, very light creasing and some discolouration. 9/10.

The Garrod & Lofthouse 'Patents Pending' outer sleeve is in very good plus condition overall with very little wear to the main front and rear panel. The credits printed on the spine are excellent with no wear or fading to each letter of each word.

The perimeter has some light edge wear and liggt corner rubbing. There is a little bit of light discolouration throughout but mainly to the rear panel. 8/10.
