A bit of history.....This album was first released on the 4th Dec 1964. Prior to its release there was a huge order of 750,000...which went on to break all records for advance orders of ANY album!!! Of course this meant the album went straight into the number 1 position in the U.K. charts, staying in the charts for 46 weeks!! POPULAR is too small a word for it!

 Lovely heavy ORIGINAL vinyl.
The vinyl only carries some very light marks to her-nothing bad at all.
After giving her a clean, I have just finished listening to the whole album and was incredibly happy with the rich, deep audio reproduction.
I found the audio to be lovely and clear, with the exception of of a little amount of faint background crackle appearing every now and then...But not offensive at all.
I noticed a tiny, tiny skip on Every Little Thing, right near the end-I think a heavier stylus than mine would play over this.
STILL retaining all is glory!

Very well looked after.

Outer text "The Parlophone Co." (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.
Only a small amount of central hole wear.
There are many light spindle marks-but these are really only seen when angled towards the light when looking for them.
Lovely, clear silver text.
No writing.

*SOLID GRADING FOR THIS DELICATE COVER*
GREAT CONDITION
There are just around 5 small crescents of spidering to the front panel....With the bottom right and top right corners having a light line of spidering-nothing visible from inside the gatefold. The back has a few small fingers of spidering emanating from the seams as well as just a gentle outline of where this record has been housed for the last 56 years!
The Corners have just light wear with slight rubbing.
NO writing....Just noticed a small black line on the inside of the left gatefold-see if you can spot it in the images provided...This is the only reason I have knocked the grading down from a VG+ to a VG.
EXCELLENT strong and clean WHITE inner flipbacks.
WONDERFULLY STRONG AND LEGIBLE SPINE...Just a couple of small nicks to the top and bottom of it.
We all know how delicate this gatefold cover is and this little beauty has been incredibly well looked after throught it's life...
HEY, don't forget this was the FIRST ever produced gatefold!


Inner:
G+.
 All ORIGINAL "USE EMITEX" inner, with the tracing paper-like lining.
It is also incredibly early as it has the "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" statement to one side.
She does have some wear-the inner poly-lining has become unglued on one side and there is a small split to the paper outer on one side. The top left corner has a small split of approx 5cm, but could be repaired.
Certainly done her job by looking after this quality slab of vinyl.
Quite rare in and of its self.
