Released on the 5th of October 1970, this Lp was to define the 70's hard rock scene... & what an album!! Entering the UK charts at the No. 1 position.
Most of the songs on this album were composed in Bron-Yr-Aur, an 18th-century cottage in Gwynedd, Wales during the mid 70's, after a hectic North American tour.

The Vinyl:

There are only the very lightest of light wispy marks to either side of this vinyl. She still plays through with force-I have just given her a gentle professional vacuum clean and then listened to her all the way through....Superb deep bass with clear and clean peaks.
VERY VERY NICE INDEED.
Only noticed a tiny bit of very light crackle inbetween a couple of songs and a very small amount in the background on Since I've Been Loving You in the quiet sections at the start...I also noticed some light crackle at the start of Gallows Pole-which faded away quickly-but non of these sections were offensive at all-They just reminded me I am listening to vinyl and not an MPEG!

Really is one of the best examples of this pressing I have ever come across!

The Labels:
EX.
It is the re-pressed label with the Warner Logo going through the white central band. BUT does have an unusual central groove depression...?
There are ONLY a handful of  verylight spindle marks evident, with almost ZERO central hole wear.
