SOLID.. Being one of my favourite albums of all time-it really wasn't a chore to listen to her through at HIGH volume!!
Solid sound reproduction..Deep bass and clear highs.
There are quite a lot of marks to the vinyl, with a long line on side 2-but this on very lightly registered in playback and certainly didn't make the needle jump, skip or stick.
Side 1 has light marks, but again, nothing to make her jump, skip or stick.
On playback I noticed a brief and light revolutionary pop on track 1, side 1 as well as one on 'Thank You'. However, for the rest of the album the bass was superbly clean and low-it really shone out!
There was some light background crackle, noticeable (but not offensively so) in the quieter sections and more so in the run-outs...But hey; when the tracks get going there's nothing to detract from a lovely listening to Zepp at their best!
*TURN HER UP-I DID*
WOW-Superb drums kicking in at the start-magical! And Ooooh, the escalation of the bass line on Ramble On is a pure joy to listen to.
FLAT & HEAVY.
