Released back on the 8th of October 1971, this was Johns sixth solo album release. It managed to get to the top slot in the UK charts, where it stayed for 2 weeks.

LOVELY AND EARLY

The vinyl:

She is in lovely condition with only a couple of insignificant light marks to her.
I have just listened to her ALL THE WAY THROUGH and didn't find any jumps or skips..Just a deep and rich sound reproduction with barely ANY background noise! All I noticed was a couple of very light pops which disappear as soon as they emerge.
I gave her a gentle vacuum clean and she now sounds wonderfully rich and clear.
Even the run-ins are lovely and quiet.
Flat and shiny vinyl.

The Labels:

They are in great condition....Just a handful of very light spindle marks-only visible only when angled towards the light and really looking for them.
NO WRITING.

The Cover:

1st press fully laminated cover here.
There are quite a few small crescents of spidering the front, near the opening, with a lot less to the back laminate.  As well as some small fingers of spiderinf emanating from the seams-lovely SOLID condition.
There is a knock to the top right corner, but nothing terrible.
No writing
No splits
Wonderfully strong spine and legible.

The Inner:
VG.
It is the correct lyric inner with the lyrics to one side and the credits for the album to the other.
No writing.
There is a split to the bottom as well as a small one to one of the sides and a small degree of feathering to the opening. 

SOUNDS GREAT AND IS A VERY EARLY PRESSING-WOULD MAKE A LOVELY EDITION TO YOUR COLLECTION. THE VINYL IS THE STAND-OUT PIECE HERE!
