Dutch outfit Third Eye actually performed mostly in German throughout the 70s and 80s. This newly complied collection of the band's classic is an oddball assemblage of all jazz styles- trap, bop, Latin - with space rock and other genres all fused in. It's a tight, dynamic affair that is lit up by some mega Rhodes work, fine bass and cosmic Arp Odyssey lines. The first two parts of 'Cycle' are expansive and eye opening affairs, 'Sound Cycle Suite' gets a little slower and more funky and the flip side offers further seamless fusions of jazz styles that are free flowing and joyous to behold.
