Formed in an East London flat in 1988, Damaged Goods continues to supply us with incredible, often counter-cultural-leaning music, celebrating the best in alternative rock, garage, punk, and more. As the title here makes pretty damn clear, this is a hand-picked selection of the finest Christmas tracks the crew have put out, and more often than not the ones that clearly don't give a flying fuck about keeping up with tradition.

Well, actually some of the songs here are more in-keeping with the season than you might first expect. Severe's 'Stop The Cavalry', for example, is a thrashing guitar take on the classic anti-war anthem by Jona Lewie. Of course, the original isn't on a 'chestnuts roasting' tip, at all, and deals with the horrors mankind inflicts on itself. But, still, it makes us feel festive - even this riff-y version. Elsewhere, Holly Golightly, Wat Tyler, Thee Headcoatees, and Goldblade all offer standout fare here.
