If required Lps are professionally cleaned before photographing so do not require cleaning.

Matrix no’s; 1A, 1B

Sleeve in very good + condition, a few very minor scuffs and creases to edges and corners and a few rubbing marks.

Inner in very good condition, minor creasing.

Labels in very good condition, are spindle marks.

Vinyl in very good condition, a few faint scratches and marks visible under led lights. Plays with occasional crackle in quiet phases and between tracks.

Record grading;

Mint- item is factory sealed.

Near mint - item has been opened but has no marks visible under led lights.

Excellent- record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

Very good - record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

Good - record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated.

Fair - record is still just playable, displays considerable surface noise and may even jump.

I also use + and - when a record falls between two grades and try to put a brief description of any noticeable faults and to photograph and faults.
