45 Liverpool Five New Directions/What A Crazy World Excellent Vinyl Promo Copy. These Liverpudlians were part of the Beat/British Invasion period. They did not chart a top 40 hit like so many others in 1964 ( Dave Clark Five, Zombies, Rolling Stones, Animals among many others) on the American charts. Kind of an borderline success group that not many of us remember. Side one New Directions has sort of a garage sound (or gah-ridge more properly). Flip side What A Crazy World is a bit of skiffle sound. Interesting find as a Beat Sound genre and White Label Promo. Vinyl is free of surface noise or defects, except for two light small scuffs on side B that do not affect play. RCA sleeve is in Good condition, with fraying on top and separation of top half ofsleeve on left side. Comes with new white sleeve and protective outer plastic sleeve.
