In 1975, Steve Potts left Steve Lacy to compose music for a friend's movie at the request of director Joaquin Lledo (AKA Joaquin Noessi) for the film Le Sujet ou le secretaire aux 1001 tiroirs (Subject or The Secretary of the 1001 Drawers). This original soundtrack from the cult film sees Potts joined by the musicians he played with regularly at the time, such as the aforementioned Steve Lacy Sextet, pianist Frank Abel and percussionist Donny Donable (Ice), as well as Elie Ferre and Christian Escoude on guitars plus Joss Basselli on accordion - among others. The production was overseen by Jef Gilson. Remastered from the original tapes with restored artwork, four page booklet and obi strip.
