'I Can't Let You Go' is the only and only single ever attributed to Tony Simmons. He released it on Jeff Weston's high energy Record Shack Records in 1983 and it will currently cost you over L250 to secure an original copy. This official reissue should more than keep you satisfied though: the original is a silky and smooth bit of funk disco with steamy vocals and a leggy bassline brining with boogie goodness. It's a real joy and is backed here with Soul Shack's one and only ever single, 'Galactic Funk,' from 1980. It's a synth heavy jam with dazzling chords and plenty of sci-fi effects over a slow motion boogie bassline.
