With its mixture of the ecstatic chromaticism of Scriabin, the skittering strings of Penderecki, the harmonic waves of Ligeti, and the atmospheric percussion of Herrmann, Goldsmith's soundtrack became a template for all subsequent science fiction/horror movies.

Tracks : Main title/ The face hugger/ Breakaway/ Acid test/ The landing/ The droid/ The recovery/ The alien planet/ The shaft/ End title.   There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks that cause a few light crackles and is in Excellent condition. Cover has some ringwear and a few tiny surface tears around edges and is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brYoshikazu own paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
