Here's a nice copy of the UK Vinyl LP first pressing of "Hounds Of Love" by Kate Bush on the EMI Records label from 1985. The catalogue number is EJ2403841.

It also has very low matrix stampers stamped in the run-off grooves.

Matrix side 1 = EJ 2403841 A-1-1-1 D (TOWNHOUSE - etched)

Matrix side 2 = EJ 2403841 B-6U-1-9 (TOWNHOUSE - etched)

Side 1 condition:

Side 1 plays through very well with no jumps, skips or sticks. There is a little background noise throughout, but the production quality is wonderfully clear. 8 / 10.

The surface has a very good plus shine with a few light hairlines, but certainly no heavy or moderate marks to spoil the playback. Clean with no dirt, grime or discolouration. 8/10.

The label on side 1 is very good plus with very little evidence of wear and no noticeable fading to the text or background. There is only light evidence of spider trails around the centre hole. 8/10

Side 2 condition:

Side 2 plays through very well with a little evidence of light background noise, the production sounds stunning. There are absolutely no sticks, no loud pops and no jumps throughout. 8.5 / 10

The surface of the record on side 2 is very good plus with a few lines, it certainly does not have any heavy rubs or scratches to the surface. Again, clean without grime, dirt or discolouration. 7.5/10.

The label on side 2 is also very good plus with no fading to the text or the background. There is light evidence of spider trails around the centre hole, and it is without major discolouration. 8/10

The outer sleeve is in good condition with no splits or tears. There is a bit of discolouration on the front and rear but the print is very good with very little fading. The outer perimeters and spine have a little bit of rubbing along their length, so there is a little bit of fading to the credits. 7/10

The lyric printed inner is in very good condition with no splits or tears and no major creasing. There is a bit of discolouration and wear on both sides. 7/10
