1977 gem An Insatiable High is peak jazz-funk. It was put together by a high quality cast of hugely skilled musicians (including none other than Patrice Rushen, Chak Rainey, Harvey Mason) and thanks to getting some big support from favourable YouTube algorithms it has become a highly sought after and expansive record. Low key petals like 'Malibu' are noodley, loved up pieces for smoochy romancing, while the epic ten minute plus title track is an all out dane effort assault. This reissue will bring the record to an even bigger audience.
