Here's a very nice copy of the UK first pressing of the debut album by Tracy Chapman on the Elektra Records label. Catalogue number 960 774-1 - EKT 44. It also has very low stampers stamped in the run-off grooves.

Side 1 condition:

Side 1 plays through beautifully well with no jumps, skips or sticks. There is very little background noise throughout, and the production quality is wonderfully clear. 9 / 10.

The surface has an excellent shine with only a few light rubs or hairlines, and certainly no heavy or moderate marks to spoil the playback. Lovely and clean with no dirt, grime or discolouration. 8.5/10.

The label on side 1 is excellent with very little evidence of wear and no noticeable fading to the text or background. There is no evidence of spider trails around the centre hole. 9/10

Side 2 condition:

Side 2 plays through beautifully well with very little evidence of light background noise, the production sounds stunning. There are absolutely no sticks, no loud pops and no jumps throughout. 9 / 10

The surface of the record on side 2 is very good plus with a few light hairlines, it certainly does not have any heavy rubs or moderate scratches to the surface. Again, beautifully clean without grime, dirt or discolouration. 8.5/10.

The label on side 2 is also excellent with no fading to the text or the background. There is no evidence of spider trails around the centre hole, and it is without discolouration. 9/10

The outer sleeve is in very good condition with very little discolouration on the front and rear and the print is very good plus with very little fading. The outer perimeters and spine have a little bit of rubbing along their length. At the bottom of the sleeve there is a 4 cm piece of clear tape supporting the fragile perimeter. There is no fading to the credits along the spine. 7.5/10

The lyric inner sleeve is in very good clean condition with very little discolouration or creasing but with a seam split in the bottom perimeter. 7.5/10
