Gothenburg's Amateur Hour has had their cult 2019 album Framtiden Tillhor Inte Oss pressed to vinyl in hugely limited quantities this month. Now they are back with a first proper release since then in the form of Krokta Tankar & Branda Vanor. Band members Julia, Hugo and Dan are key players on the Gothenburg Underground scene who have played in all sorts of bands including Sewer Election, Typical Girls and Oroskallan. This new record is another fine mix of dreamy indie pop and harsh industrial soundscapes, with plenty of great studio trickery and improvisational jams as well as a focus on more deliberate songwriting. And it has worked well.
