Released before ‘Never Mind The Bollocks’ was published. In other words, this un-official LP is the first LP release by the SEX PISTOLS…..and it NEVER SHOWS UP. You are bidding on the original first pressing of the legendary ‘Spunk’ LP, released in August 1977 and first mentioned in the music press (Sounds) on 22 October 1977. Born is great studio quality, this rarity contains the original PISTOLS demos recorded by Dave Goodman in July 1976 (Side 1 tracks 1-5), October 1977 (Nookie) and January 1977 (all of side 2). These are the original titles/names of the songs most of which were later released on the ‘Never Mind The Bollocks’ album. For example Nookie (= Anarchy In The UK) or No Future (= God Save The Queen) or Lots Of Fun (= Pretty Vacant) or Who Was It (= EMI). Released on ‘Blank’ records (catalogue number BLA 169).
