This rather good "45" may sound vintage, but it's brand spanking new. It sees long-serving Brighton beat-maker and dub enthusiast Richie Phoe join forces with vocalist Kassia Zermon and Resonators' sax player Leroy Horns to serve up a rather good cover of Jacob Miller classic 'Baby I Love You So'. The A-side vocal version is a genuine treat, with Zermon's soulful vocals working in perfect unison with Phoe's hybrid roots reggae/lovers rock style backing track. As you'd expect, it comes accompanied by a deliciously spaced-out, echo-laden flipside dub. This showcases more of Leroy Horns' fine saxophone solos as well as selected snippets of Zermon's vocal.
