Masayoshi Takanaki is a cult compeer and prouder with a full - to say the least - and accomplished discography. It stands at over 48 albums and over 300 other credits. Plenty of it gets reissued on a regal basis and next up is All Of Me from 1979. It takes in the disco influences of that era alongside jazz-funk, fusion and soul sounds with an array of talents helping him on bass, keys, guitars, drums, percussion and vocals. The playful cover art is no indication of the sophisticated sounds you will find within as arrangements swell, grooves sweat and melodies wash over you in blissful fashion.
