This edition issued in 2011 in a limited press run of 1000 copies (long out of print); this copy is from the 2011 press run and comes in an open-end outer poly sleeve with hype sticker. Pressed on high quality virgin vinyl and remastered from the original master tapes. Comes in an old style tip-on gatefold jacket (on heavy board stock) that reproduces the original artwork; includes an insert with a history of the group, lyrics, and photos. NOTE:  The limited 2021 vinyl repress uses lighter weight board stock for the cover with the artwork printed directly on the cover stock. TRACKS:  Frustration, Hooded Eagle, I See The Light, Murderers Lament, When The Wolf Sits, Midnight Steamer, Primitive Man, Beyond The Grave, and She Came Like A Bat From Hell. DESCRIPTION:  First official vinyl reissue of this infamous UK heavy rock Decca/Deram label album from 1972, produced by Deep Purple's legendary frontman, Ian Gillan, who said of them: “Not many bands really excite me. But this one’s so raw and completely unpretentious. They make the biggest, bloodiest noise you can imagine, tempered with moments of extreme emotion.” And, of course, he’s right—the music is a menacing combination of over-the-top vocals and screaming lead guitars that could easily pass for something from the early British heavy metal scene. A favorite among vinyl collectors, the album is presented here in its ultimate glory, with all tracks taken from the original master tapes and housed in a high quality old-style gatefold cover; insert has liner notes written by bassist Paul Dean, lyrics + press clippings and rare photos! Highly recommended for fans of groups like Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Leaf Hound, Iron Claw, Toad, Buffalo, Zior, Horse, Incredible Hog, Dogfeet, Elias Hulk, Ginhouse and the like. Rough, raw, and doomy! This is a straight reissue of the album; same original track line-up. There is a CD version that includes 5 bonus tracks comprising a non-album single, a single version mix, a mono single version mix, and 2 pre-album demos; unfortunately out of print.

All LPs are removed from their jackets and placed outside of the jacket for shipping. If an album comes sealed (and will be noted as such in the above description), it will be shipped whole unless you request that I open it up to place the disc outside of the jacket for shipping. Both jacket and disc are placed inside of an outer plastic sleeve before packing for shipping. I use professional corrugated record mailers with inside packing.
