Right, OK, where do we start on this one? There is no point in trying to come up with some pseudo-academic wordsmithery about the cultural contribution that Swedish pop band Aqua made to the musical world. But nor can we slay these sounds either, though, because for a short while they were everywhere and lapped up by everyone. The charm of the Euro-dace was in its nativity, its silliness, its innocence, but also the deceptive simplicity of the MIDI beats and catchy vocal choruses. Hard to believe this one is 25 years old but it is, and it is now available on wax once more.
