Ultra-laid-back steeze from US rapper Larry June. 'Iced Coffee' is a smooth operator in the mode of hip-hop, hailing from an earlier 2020 project made with producer Jake One. It's so slick you could probably substitute it for a chat-up line. An undeniable West Coast feel wafts from its low-cut, low-slanging slow groove, as June asserts he is a "different kind of dude", against an instrumental that is not rude, not crude, but certainly, subtly, lewd. Its rare instrumental from Jake One is just as much of a feels-tickler to say the least, standing well up on its own on the B-side, against the cold example set by the A.
