Country Music Time (Airforce)

Military Recruiters would use any means necessary to attract the attention of America's Young people so they could attract the best talent to the Service.

One of their more pleasant devices were a series of music programs that were recorded and syndicated for general distribution called Country Music Time. They would be given exclusively to DJs on vinyl records and they would play them on air at their radio stations.

This collection was sponsored by the US Air Force, and produced in Nashville.

Up for sale in this listing are 80 of those programs on 40 record lps with the shows numbered #118-272. There are some straight runs. Performers include Lynn Anderson,The Oak Ridge Boys,Connie Smith,Tom T hall,Bobby Bare and many more

They were given exclusively to a record DJ in the 1970s and were not available to the general public to have. That being said they are quite rare and scarce to find. They would make a great addition to anyone's country music vinyl collection.
