The Superman radio show made it's debut on February 12, 1940, as a three-times-per week program. Soon it became a top entry on the Mutual Network with Clayton (Bud) Collyer as the Man of Steel, Joan Alexander as the famous girl reporter Lois Lane and Julian Noa as the gruff Perry White.
