The Spaniels featuring Pookie Hudson – “Maybe” b/w “Goodnight, Sweetheart, Goodnight” (Buddah 153). Excellent Christmas of 1969 release by the re-united Spaniels under historic leader Pookie Hudson. The Spaniels re-recorded the song in 1969 for Buddah Records; however, the title was shown as "Goodnight Sweetheart" and the songwriting misattributed to Ray Noble, Jimmy Campbell, Reg Connelly and Rudy Vallee, implying they covered the 1930s standard. It isn’t. Take a listen to both sides. DJ copy. Record is in VG+ condition (there is a sticker on the flip side (it can be removed but I leave that to you.) It says “1956” with a station library number. They are wrong. This is the re-recording.)
