This is a reissue of a sole 1982 LP, Love Trip, by Takako Mamiya, Japanese singer who's been the subject of many an enquiry as to what happened after she "disappeared" from the music scene. Fabled for its mystique - which sprang from the initially nearly un-track-downable nature of the singer herself - the album is noted for its hazy aura, which exemplifies the more elusive ends of Japanese AOR and city pop in the same breath.
