This Sonny Rollins Quartet vinyl record is a rare gem for jazz lovers. With an original pressing purchased from the great jazz record store on South Wabash in Chicago , Seymour Records in 1952, this 10" LP features bop and cool jazz styles that transport listeners back to the 1950s. The record label is Prestige, and the catalog number is PRLP 137. The sleeve is good and complete but is only attached at 1 side, record grading is good with some scratching and hiss, 1 feelable small mark on each side, and the inlay condition is good plus (G+). You can hear a sample of the record sound in my other social here...

The record has a mono audio channel and a deep groove, which adds to the authenticity of this first edition, original pressing vinyl. The album cover is a cardboard sleeve that is detached at 2 of the 3 sides, and the features include original store stamp, an EAR mark, and the original pressing. This vinyl is a must-have for any jazz collector who appreciates the history and evolution of the genre.
