Released in October 1969, this Lp was the follow up to the hugely successful Zeppelin I... & what an album...Being the groups very first album to reach No. 1 in both the UK and the USA.
The album production was entirely credited to Jimmy Page.

Being one of my favourite albums of all time-it really wasn't a chore to listen to her through at HIGH volume!!
Great sound reproduction..Deep bass and clear highs.
There are just a few very light marks to the vinyl, but they only very, VERY occasionally lightly registered in playback and certainly didn't make the needle jump, skip or stick...For example; I found a light/soft revolutionary pop (only 3 very light pops) right in the quiet transitioning section of Thank You on side 2-it wasn't offensive at all.
On playback the album bass was superbly clean and low-it really shone out!
There was some VERY light background noise, only noticeable (but not offensively so) in the quieter sections and more so in the run-outs...But hey; when the tracks get going there's nothing to detract from a lovely listening to Zepp at their best!
*TURN HER UP-I DID*
WOW-Superb drums kicking in at the start-magical! And Ooooh, the escalation of the bass line on Ramble On is a pure joy to listen to.
FLAT & HEAVY.

THIS ONLY OCCURRED ON THIS RED/PLUM LABEL VARIATION as other Red/Plum label variations credited 'Jones' for all 3 tracks.
