1st US Press, released at the same time as the Red Apple UK counter-part.

Let It Be is the twelfth and final studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. It was released on 8 May 1970, almost a month after the group's break-up. Like most of the band's previous releases, it was a number one album in many countries, including both the US and the UK, and was released in tandem with the motion picture of the same name. The album was conceived as Get Back, a return to the Beatles' earlier, less complicated approach to music. It was recorded and projected for release before their album Abbey Road (1969). For this reason, some critics and fans, such as Mark Lewisohn, argue that Abbey Road should be considered the group's final album and Let It Be the penultimate......

This one up for sale.....
Red Apple Label, Mfd. By Apple, Gatefold, Maggie May is credited to "PD", Phil & Ronnie in trail off dead wax to both sides. Label is whole red apple on one side and split white apple on other.

STUNNINGLY SHINY VINYL
I have just given her a gentle professional vacuum clean & then played her-all the way through-and wow! She provides a fantastically beautiful sound reproduction! Strangely there is a little light and gentle background fuzz...I think I need to change my needle as the vinyl is visually not marked.
The run-ins and outs are as close to silent as you could hope for...wonderful :)

Still has that gorgeous shine.
DEEP rich bass with clean and clear highs.
Wonderful rich and rounded full audio playback.
FLAT as the day she was born.

Superb condition...No writing, rips or tears and just one or two incredibly light spindle marks-very hard to see and only visible when angled towards the light and really looking for them..Lovely!
It carries the MATTE labels.
As you can see in the detailed images-there are some small spots of 'pitting' which happened at the factory, in production (because they are UNDER the label) to the side 1 label....Nothing bad at all.

Only marked down due to the very nature of this gatefold cover being very susceptible to rubbing and this one is no different-please see the detailed images for yourselves.
The inner gatefold images are beautifully clean and clear and shine out as if printed yesterday.
As you can see there is a corner which has been cut..amazingly this was standard practice back in the 70's!
