A bit of history.....This album was first released on the 4th Dec 1964. Prior to its release there was a huge order of 750,000...which went on to break all records for advance orders of ANY album!!! Of course this meant the album went straight into the number 1 position in the U.K. charts, staying in the charts for 46 weeks!! POPULAR is too small a word for it!

The vinyl has just light marks, certainly nothing to make her SKIP OR JUMP..
After giving her a gentle vacuum clean, I gave her a listen to-all the way through-All I found was just some very occasional light background crackle-I noticed a soft revolutionary pop on track 1, side 1 but not enough to mask the music shining through..It didn't interfere at all with my enjoyment of the album at all-it was nicely nostalgic :)
'I'm A Loser' comes out clear, with superb peaks and troughs.

There are many light spindle marks to both sides..But not heavy enough to damage the label and these are only visible when angling towards the light and looking for them.
Light and minimal central hole wear, as evident in the detailed images provided....Lovely.
Outer text "The Parlophone Co." (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.
Lovely, clear silver text.

The spine has had some light rubbing to the top and bottom. There are small 1cm splits to the top and bottom of this spine.
There are only a handful of small crescents of spidering to the front laminate, with the back laminated gatefold being in great shape too.
No Writing
Lovely clean and clear inner picture-Please see the images for yourselves.
All in all she has faired well through the ages, being almost 60 years old!
VERY STRONG & CLEAN internal flipbacks.

It is the ORIGINAL "Use Emitex" inner with the tracing paper lining.
Certainly done the job, by looking after this slab of vinyl for all these years.
IT IS ALSO AN INCREDIBLY EARLY INNER AS IT CARRIES THE "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" TEXT.
Unfortunately there are some splits to the seams but would not show when framing and still remains strong and able to hold the record it was made to house :)
