This Lp was released on the 10th July 1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 postition for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

 Lovely heavy vinyl. There are only very light marks to both sides....After giving her a gentle vacuum clean, I played her all the way through I found the sound reproduction to be clean and clear! The only background noise I noted were the occasional light pop, but nothing offensive at all.
DEEP RICH BASS
 Very nice indeed.

Lovely and clear. Quite a lot of light spindle marks visible when angled towards bright light, with some central hole wear, as you can see in the images provided.

RARER Ernest J DAY COVER-These were made for just a few hundred releases of this record and are quite difficult to find in any condition. They mark the very 1st release of this record too!

Some slight discolouration to the white card backing.
Good strong corners too.
WONDERFUL EJ Day flipbacks-in great condition.
Superbly strong and legible spine.
NO RIPS/TEARS OR SPLITS
Has "Printed and made by Ernest J Day & Co. Ltd. London" lovely and clear to back bottom right corner flipback....As a note the more common is EJ Day rather than the full name of Ernest J Day (like this one!)
